At it’s core, Simplicity wanted to do things differently and, being a new player in New Zealand’s retirement saving scheme landscape, they needed to doubled down on standing out.
So different became the design strategy. Colour palette, fonts, language, UI and layout choices were all based on being as polar as possible to current competitors, making for a confident, striking brand that stripped away all the unnecessary.
